We have over 30 years of executive marketing experience, managing marketing departments for local credit unions in the Washington DC area. Elevate It Now® is taking that experience to assist them with creative and innovative marketing solutions that are unique and tailored to their business, its goals, and objectives.

Mónica Malavé
Marketing & Branding Strategist|CEO
A creative and marketing professional with 30 years in marketing, 15 of those years in Executive Management, leading the marketing departments of several credit unions in the Washington D.C. area. Mónica’s specialties are Strategic Planning, Corporate Branding, Social Media Management along with technical and creative marketing development. She deployed the Corporate Branding of the DVA Federal Credit Union, re-branding of the FDIC Federal Credit Union and 360 Financial Group in Florida. Having graduated Magna Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing Management, Mónica continues her training and development in the latest innovative marketing strategies in order to provide her clients with a marketing strategy that is results-driven.
Originally from Puerto Rico, Mónica has always had a passion for marketing and all things creative. The credit union philosophy of "people helping people" is a concept that she fell in love with at an early age in her career and now is the core belief of Elevate It Now and a goal to assist realtors, small business owners and credit unions succeed via marketing and where we are "Marketing Today for Your Tomorrow!"
Alejandro Freite
Senior Graphic Designer & Branding Specialist
Alejandro Freite is a Senior Graphic Designer with a Bachelors’ Degree in Graphic Design and over 23 years of corporate experience in the management of the complete design and branding process from conceptualization to delivery.
Alejandro recently left Carfax, where he led the design and implementation of graphic, layout, and product communication materials, including the development of numerous marketing programs such as logos, brochures, POP, newsletters, infographics, presentations, emails, social media to start his own business (SLV Design Studio). He also developed branding campaigns for all the internal corporate events, which also included the design of print and digital design projects from beginning to end.
Alejandro enjoys collaborating with clients, the creative and production teams of his previous corporate teams and ensures that he delivers design solutions that exceed expectations.
His experience goes beyond graphic design as he was an Art Director of several companies that he worked for in Venezuela before coming to the US in 2008.
He is an avid cyclist and enjoys life in Centreville with his wife, two children, and his new puppy Nala!
Courtney Ruckman
Junior Graphic Designer & Social Media Specialist
Courtney Ruckman is a retired opera singer and arts marketer.
After singing professionally for eleven years, she transitioned into marketing and communications for non-profits. Since the switch in 2016, she’s helped numerous artists and organizations craft their unique brand stories and build engaged online communities.
In March 2022 she launched Ossia Media, a digital marketing agency for emerging artists and non-profits. In every client collaboration, she deploys her creativity and strategic savvy to amplify their work online.
